Midterm reminder about library resources
End-of-semester virtual library evaluation
Answer research and library-related questions in a discussion forum
Create resource pages, tutorials, and quizzes tailored to your course
Help identify the best research materials for your students

Adding a Librarian to Your Canvas Course
Embedding a librarian in your Canvas course in the “Librarian” role enables seamless collaboration between instructors and librarians.
Librarians Can:
Access course materials
Post announcements and participate in discussions
Add relevant research content to the course
Librarians cannot view student enrollments, grades, or other protected information.
How to Add a Librarian in Canvas:
From your Canvas course homepage, click "People" in the left-hand menu.
Click the "+ People" button.
Enter the librarian’s email address.
Select "Librarian" from the role dropdown menu.
Click "Next", and the librarian will receive an invitation to join your course.
