    To help faculty promote equity for our diverse student population and introduce students to library resources (high-quality information sources offered free to all GC students, faculty, and staff), we have developed sample statements that can be included in syllabi. 

    We also encourage faculty to contact the library to learn more about the resources to support student success relevant to their course.

    Library Services Syllabus Statement 1:
    This class requires students to find information sources for a research assignment, paper, or project. Appropriate sources could include scholarly and peer-reviewed journal articles, books or magazines, and newspapers. Librarians are available to help students select and locate relevant sources. You can Ask a Librarian in person, by email, chat, text, or phone for assistance.

    GET HELP @ GC LIBRARY! Ask a Librarian in person, by email, chat, phone, or text for research assistance. You can access your library account, the online catalog, and academic databases at the GC Library.
