About This Guide

The Logistics Research Guide is intended to create a pathway to research tools and resources to assist you with your projects and assignments in the Logistics program.

Many research resources and tools are available to GC students in the library; knowing which resources are available for your program or course and how to use the resources can sometimes be overwhelming. The guide will help you navigate library resources whether you are an online student, dual credit, hybrid student, or attending in-person.

Academic Search Complete is the world's most valuable and comprehensive scholarly, multi-disciplinary full-text database. Academic Search Complete has more than 5,300 full-text periodicals, including 4,400 peer-reviewed journals. In addition to full text, this database offers indexing and abstracts for more than 9,300 journals and a total of 9,810 publications including monographs, reports, conference proceedings, etc.

Academic Video Online is a comprehensive, multidisciplinary video subscription that supports the entire range of curriculum, from anthropology to zoology. It includes a variety of video material available with curricular relevance: documentaries, interviews, feature films, performances, news programs and newsreels, and demonstrations.

The eBook collections from EBSCO contain a wide selection of eBook titles representing a broad range of academic subjects, including arts and humanities, business, literature, social sciences, sciences, and technology. Within this search, you can access the Nursing eBook Collection, a curated collection that includes more than 720 e-books designed for use in hospitals, medical institutions, and academic institutions.
You can also access the Open Access collection created in collaboration with university presses and scholarly OA publishers such as the University of Michigan Press, Taylor & Francis, and Temple University Press. This highly curated collection provides libraries and end-users with choice and access to a large selection of discoverable, DRM-Free content, which will continue to grow by the thousands.
