Reference & Instruction

The Reference and Instruction Services dashboard provides an overview of the library’s instructional services and reference support across both face-to-face and online formats. Metrics include monthly counts of in-person instruction sessions by campus location (Main Campus, ATC, Odyssey Academy, Ball High School, and Dickinson High School) and asynchronous tutorial completions through Canvas, LibWizard, and Niche Academy. The dashboard also tracks the total number of unique students reached through library instruction, as well as tutorial completion rates across topics such as APA 7, MLA 9th, Database Searching, and Plagiarism Awareness. Additionally, the dashboard presents reference transaction data, including in-person, appointment-based, and virtual (Teams/Webex) interactions. These insights support analysis of instructional reach, student engagement, and demand for research assistance services.
