Your Online Library is Full Service! We are now Virtual Librarians :-)...

We may be virtual, but we are here to help you and we do miss our patrons!

Need Work From Home Tips? Amanda Newell has a few tips to share with you from Springshare! View the document here!

Faculty: We encourage you to schedule Zoom Library Instruction Sessions.

Be sure to share the Distance and Online Library Resource page with all students! This guide is designed to help students at a distance or taking online courses to locate and use GC Library's online resources and research tools. This guide is also designed to help faculty and staff become more familiar with online library resources and services to help our students be successful in their research and use of the library.

Having trouble accessing library resources? Take a look at the Off-Campus Access page for assistance!

* All library materials have been renewed to the end of the Spring semester. All Fines and Fees for late materials for Spring have been waived.

The Numbers Say...

From March 18th to Date:

  • We may not be on campus, but students are still using our resources! We have had 17 live chat sessions with students. Live Chat is available Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm.
  • We have 4,786 Course and Research Guide views and 873! 2,274 views on the library homepage and 873 views on the Distance Education and Online Library Resources page!
  • Our A to Z Database page has 2,947 views and over 183 databases have been searched with over 60,000 database sessions! Wow, the students have been really busy!!!

Streamlining Processes and Enhancing the User Experience!

Have you heard of the term ILS and wondered what that was? An ILS is an integrated library system, which allows you to search for library resources and US to input, inventory, and check out those resources to you and SO MUCH more! We are getting a new ILS soon! We are in the implementation stages, want a sneak peek?
