We are currently working on a solution to expedite this service. Please see the Interlibrary Loan (ILL) and TexShare Card page for more information about Interlibrary Loans and the TexShare Card.

    Research Tutorial

    • The research tutorial, is an online tutorial designed to assist you through the various steps of the research process, including identifying and developing a topic, gathering information, finding library resources, evaluating and citing sources. You can access the Research Tutorial here, or on the second tab to the left.

    Research Assistance

    • If you need assistance with your research assignment or you have a reference question and would like to speak with a reference librarian, we encourage you to please Contact a Librarian via email, phone/text or chat. This is a good option for students who need a brief explanation of a task or concept (e.g. citing sources, plagiarism, how to search for books and/or articles).
    • If you would like personalized, in-depth assistance, please request a Reference Appointment and select Virtual or Remote as your appointment type. A Librarian will contact you to confirm your appointment and provide any additional instructions.  A reference librarian is available during library hours for research assistance on a specific subject or assignment.

    Research guides

    • Research guides developed by GC Librarians for specific courses and subjects are always available online.

    Video Tutorials
