    Final Project: PowerPoint Presentation Tutorials

    For the final project, you will be required to create an 8-10 slide PowerPoint presentation (not including the cover page and reference page).

    • Each slide will have a minimum number of speaker notes. Below you will find PowerPoint tutorials to assist you with creating a PowerPoint presentation. The tutorials below are provided by the Goodwill Community Foundation at GCFLearnFree.org. 

     

    • PowerPoint 2016 Basics-In this PowerPoint 2016 tutorial, learn how to use themes and background styles, add pictures and clip art, modify charts and lists, and do more to create standout presentations.
    • PowerPoint 2016 Video Tutorial Series-In this video series, you will understand how to use powerful tools in PowerPoint 2016 to create professional, compelling presentations, including applying themes and transitions, inserting pictures and shapes, aligning objects, and doing more.
    • PowerPoint 2016 Quiz-Test your knowledge of PowerPoint 2016 by taking this 10 question quiz.

    What is a literature review? A literature review is a document or section of a document that collects key sources on a topic and discusses those sources in conversation with each other (also called synthesis).

    The literature review is an important genre in many disciplines, not just literature (i.e., the study of works of literature such as novels and plays). When we say “literature review” or refer to “the literature,” we are talking about the research (scholarship) in a given field. You will often see the terms “the research,” “the scholarship,” and “the literature” used mostly interchangeably.--Purdue Online Writing Lab
